One of the most successful of America's independent labels, Harbinger Records is enjoying critical raves and sales to match. Specializing in the American Popular Song catalog, Harbinger has concentrated on releasing the top in new shows, jazz artists, vocalists and historic reissues. Among the Harbinger artists are Peggy Lee, Maxine Sullivan, Kaye Ballard, Nancy Walker and others. Harbinger has released or will release in the near future recordings by Noel Coward, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, Burton Lane, Jule Styne, Frank Loesser, Rodgers and Hart and other greats of the musical theatre.

Harbinger has been active for over a decade, usually releasing its product through licensing agreements with such companies as Angel, Atlantic and Mobile Fidelity. During the past few years, Harbinger has begun marketing its product under its own label. Harbinger has also been undertaking the acquisition of smaller, historic record catalogs. We are currently releasing a series of CDs featuring the legendary Walden Records catalog. This year we will begin issuing the great jazz catalogue, Eubie Blake Music. In addition, Harbinger has an agreement with Warner/Chappell Music to issue its series of rare composer demo recordings.

This year Harbinger will increase its schedule of releases as well as keeping its active backlist serviced. Len Triola services radio for our releases and publicity is handled by The Zeisler Group, one of New York's best boutique PR firms.
